Rapidly Responding to Changing Legislation

With the provisions of the Medicare Modernization Act, the National Community Pharmacists’ Association (NCPA), needed a way to inform their 40,000 members of the effects that the legislation would have on their customers. NCPA chose Strategic Domain to develop an interactive website to help relay important Medicare information.

Strategic Domain’s road map included a one-stop online Medicare Part D resource, giving community pharmacists the knowledge and tools they need to successfully transition their patients and practices to Medicare Part D. This resource employed features such as on-line registration for local forums and meetings, materials and resources addressing Medicare Part D contracts, how to talk with patients who are Medicare beneficiaries, education opportunities, and more.

Strategic Domain also installed a content management system (CMS) for the new website to enable the NCPA staff and stakeholders to quickly update content, information, and downloads, without needing to call upon agency resources.
