Reaching Out to Different Audience Groups
With continued business growth and product offerings, Salix needed to update its website and reposition its corporate image. Recognizing the success generated by its previous website, Salix again chose Strategic Domain to create a new strategic image and website for the company.
Using extensive research among its target audience of gastroenterologists and patients, Strategic Domain was able to fashion a new image and couple it with compelling, yet descriptive brand umbrella message focused on Salix’s mission. This strategic direction enabled Salix to strengthen its position as a leader in gastroenterology and provide a platform for expansion.
The updated design and structure needed to incorporate key product promotion and easy-to-access audience information. As part of the development process, Strategic Domain developed a new information architecture and overall user interface. We also created a widget system of web modules that enabled Salix to individually position each of its branded products to their respective audiences and disease categories.
