Moving from Static to the WordPress Open Source CMS

Leveraging an existing design for a static site, and related print marketing materials, Strategic Domain began the process of “theming” the design as a front end for the WordPress content management system.

Chosen for its clean code, broad installed global user base, and proactive community of both progressive system upgrades and committed plugin development, Strategic Domain was able to quickly create the site, and add on functionality.

The site loads remarkably quickly through both database and page caching using the Hyper Cache plugin, and total control over title, description, and keywords using the “All in One SEO” plugin, the defacto industry standard for SEO on WordPress.
