With the provisions of the Medicare Modernization
Act of 2003, starting January 1, 2006, the National
Community Pharmacists' Association (NCPA), needed a
way to inform their 40,000 members of the effects that
the legislation would have on their customers. NCPA chose
Strategic Domain to develop and interactive Web site to
help relay important Medicare information.
Strategic Domain's road map included a one-stop online
Medicare Part D resource, giving community pharmacists
the knowledge and tools they need to successfully transition
their patients and practices to Medicare Part D. This resource
employed features such as on-line registration for local forums
and meetings, materials and resources addressing Medicare Part D contracts, how to talk with patients who are Medicare beneficiaries, education opportunities, and more. |
