Orthofix, a leader in the orthopedic industry, needed to energize its corporate image with a redesigned, state-of-the-art Web presence that reflected its product innovations, expanding global presence and recent acquisitions. To help develop the strategic insights and target audience needs, Strategic Domain deployed its SIGMA strategic planning and research process. Using this award-winning and proven process, Strategic Domain developed a new corporate image along with an improved approach to product marketing and content channeling that enhances relationships with all its important audiences.

Strategic Domain created a new corporate positioning statement "Making life better through innovations in healing" to strengthen the company's leadership position. This new positioning has been integrated into all corporate communications. Further strengthening the focus on innovations is new feature content on the advances Orthofix has made in trauma and reconstructive orthopedic devices as well as in-depth education and technical information for orthopedic surgeons.

Upgrading the platform technology to allow for continued company growth and product expansion underlined the overall development effort. With wide spread operations, Orthofix needed to be able to quickly and easily update all its Web sites with new products, events and information. Strategic Domain deployed its eCIMs content management solution to power the Orthofix Web platform. Included in the technology package was Strategic Domain's new search engine optimization module to increase the search engine presence of Orthofix products. Orthofix uses the eCIMs system across the globe as business units expand their online marketing efforts and address local marketing opportunities.
